Job Description
Accountant handling accounts payable, reconciliations, and month-end close. Requires 2 to 3 years of accounting experience in a remote setting.
Responsibilities:
- Process and code vendor invoices; prepare weekly payment runs.
- Perform bank and balance-sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare and post general ledger entries.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close.
- Maintain documentation and support internal controls.
- Provide schedules and backup for audits.
- Handle general accounting tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- 2 to 3 years of accounting experience.
- Solid understanding of core accounting principles.
- Strong Excel and general computer skills.
- High accuracy, organization, and follow-through.
- Able to work independently and within a small team.
