Job Description
Account Executive driving new sales and high-volume transactions for TaxAct tax preparation software. Responsible for client acquisition and revenue growth through direct sales efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Actively prospect and generate leads through cold calls, emails, social media, and networking.
- Identify and qualify potential clients, ensuring they align with TaxAct’s target market.
- Conduct high-volume outreach to maximize sales opportunities and increase market penetration.
- Present and demonstrate TaxAct's tax preparation solutions to prospective clients, highlighting key benefits and features.
- Develop and deliver compelling sales pitches tailored to client needs.
- Consistently meet or exceed high-volume sales quotas and performance metrics.
- Maintain a robust and well-organized sales pipeline to ensure consistent deal flow.
- Utilize CRM tools to track and manage sales activities, ensuring timely follow-ups and accurate reporting.
- Provide forecasts and updates on sales progress to leadership.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and market dynamics.
- Work closely with marketing and lead generation teams to align on campaigns and drive sales initiatives.
- Partner with onboarding and support teams to ensure a seamless handoff for new clients.
- Travel up to 25% of the time may be required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in high-volume sales, preferably within the software, technology, or financial services industry.
- Proven ability to close new business in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Experienced in solution selling, using discovery to identify and address prospective client needs and deliver an effective value proposition.
- Exceptional communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage a high volume of leads and sales activities.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to quickly adapt to unique market dynamics.
- Knowledge of tax preparation software or financial services is a strong advantage.
