Job Description
Account Executive responsible for sales of Alaris Infusion hardware to hospitals at BD. Building relationships with key decision makers and expanding accounts in the healthcare sector.
Responsibilities:
- Driving sales and services of Alaris Infusion hardware and software systems to acute care hospitals and IDN’s
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers that lead to future business opportunities
- Expand existing accounts by selling new product offerings and/or extending relationships into new areas within an account
- Ensure consistent and sustainable results through opportunity plans and resource allocation within own business unit
- Negotiate and collaborate with the customer and colleagues to influence support for mutually beneficial outcomes and achieve consensus
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Minimum 5 years healthcare sales experience; capital sales experience is preferred
- Proven success in a direct sales capacity is a must
- Ability to travel up to 50% of time
- Proven product knowledge in business area preferred
- Must possess and maintain a valid drivers’ license and a driving record satisfactory to the Company.
- Must possess and maintain a criminal background satisfactory to the Company.
- Must be able to meet and maintain customer/medical facility access requirements, including regular or periodic drug screenings with a satisfactory result in accordance with the requirements of the customer/medical facility serviced by the Company.
