Job Description

Account Manager overseeing and nurturing relationships with car dealer customers at Cars Commerce. Ensuring client satisfaction, identifying opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions to meet client needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Fully understand the features and capabilities of the platform
  • Stay in contact through their first time buying experience.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting dealer relationships by understanding their needs and delivering exceptional service.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling services/products and collaborate with the outside sales team to drive revenue growth.
  • Maintain consistent buying/selling from the dealers within your portfolio
  • Address dealer concerns and resolve issues promptly to maintain satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Monitor and report on account performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to improve results.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, and the product team, to align client objectives with company goals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, agreements, and account plans.
  • Adapt and adjust role as needed and requested by leadership team
  • Able to make the “difficult call”

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in account management, sales, or customer service, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant tools (e.g., HubSpot).
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and develop actionable strategies.
  • A customer-focused attitude with a passion for delivering excellent service.
  • Ability to recognize ways to improve processes and systems.
  • An “All In” attitude.
