Job Description
Accounting expert documenting real-world workflows, tools, and specialty distinctions for Mercor. Shaping upcoming AI-lab engagements through a detailed written intake.
Responsibilities:
- Complete a ~30-minute written intake about accounting practice
- Describe day-to-day workflows, time allocation, and role-critical workflows
- Explain how experienced accountants divide the field using insider distinctions rather than textbook categories
- Share overlooked or invisible aspects of accounting work
- Provide input shaping the scope of upcoming accounting engagements for AI labs
- Help Mercor match respondents to future accounting engagements and priority routing
Requirements:
- Practicing or recently practicing accountant
- Experience in public accounting, corporate finance, audit, tax, or advisory
- CPA (or equivalent) preferred; deep domain experience without the credential also welcome
- Willingness to write detailed, specific responses about the mechanics of accounting work
- Must be able to complete a ~30-minute written intake
- H1-B and STEM OPT candidates are not supported
