Job Description
Analista Contábil conduzindo fechamentos, conciliações e obrigações acessórias para clientes de empresa brasileira de tecnologia contábil, fiscal e financeira.
Responsibilities:
- Perform monthly accounting close and prepare financial statements, including the Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement, and Statement of Changes in Equity
- Perform accounting, balance sheet, and bank reconciliations, as well as classify and categorize transactions
- Analyze balance sheets, journal entries, and other accounting information, identifying inconsistencies and making adjustments and reclassifications
- Handle accounting routines for companies subject to Brazil’s Presumed Profit and Actual Profit tax regimes
- Support the preparation and submission of ancillary tax obligations, especially ECD and ECF, as well as the calculation and monitoring of LALUR
- Review prior periods and make corrections to ensure the consistency of financial information
- Manage demands from multiple clients, organizing priorities and ensuring deadlines are met
- Analyze and resolve more complex accounting matters
- Contribute to organizing and improving the department’s processes by identifying efficiency opportunities through technology and automation
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting, either in progress or completed
- Experience with accounting close, reconciliations, classifications, and journal entries
- Experience analyzing balance sheets and financial statements
- Experience working with companies subject to Brazil’s Presumed Profit and Actual Profit tax regimes
- Practical knowledge of ECD and ECF
- Experience with the Domínio system
- Knowledge of Excel
- Experience handling high-volume operations and/or managing multiple clients simultaneously
- Ability to analyze accounting information, identify inconsistencies, and independently drive their resolution
- Strong organizational skills to manage different demands, priorities, and deadlines
- Preferred: Experience in accounting firms, BPO, or accounting outsourcing operations
- Preferred: Experience with LALUR
- Preferred: Interest in technology, automation, and process improvement
