Job Description
Accounting expert mapping real-world workflows for Mercor’s AI-lab engagements. Detailing audit, tax, reporting, GAAP/IFRS, and related professional practices.
Responsibilities:
- Complete a ~30-minute written intake about accounting practice
- Describe day-to-day workflows, time allocation, and workflows core to the role
- Explain how experienced accountants divide the field using insider distinctions rather than textbook categories
- Share overlooked or invisible aspects of accounting work
- Shape the scope of upcoming accounting engagements for leading AI labs
- Provide expertise for projects focused on training and enhancing AI systems
Requirements:
- Practicing or recently practicing accountant
- Experience in public accounting, corporate finance, audit, tax, or advisory
- CPA or equivalent preferred; deep domain experience without the credential also welcome
- Willingness to write detailed, specific responses about the mechanics of accounting work
- Ability to complete a ~30-minute written intake
- H1-B and STEM OPT candidates are not supported
