Job Description
Admissions operations contractor accelerating undergraduate application completion at Reach University. Managing applicant files, resolving documentation roadblocks, and supporting enrollment pipeline goals.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary admissions support contact for new and current applicants
- Collect, verify, and track outstanding admissions materials, including transcripts, employer documentation, and required program forms
- Maintain an accurate, live tracker of applicant statuses within the system
- Execute proactive outreach via email, text, and phone calls to guide applicants through completing their files
- Evaluate and transition qualified candidates from "Incomplete" to "Complete" status
- Identify and flag potential file concerns or edge cases to Admissions Advisors
- Partner with Admissions Advisors to resolve missing documentation issues and eliminate application bottlenecks
- Identify recurring patterns causing delays in the completion process
- Ensure no application profile remains unreviewed or untouched beyond 3–5 business days
- Escalate complex eligibility cases to designated team leads
- Maintain a weekly 30-minute pipeline review sync with the Admissions Lead
- Submit a concise end-of-week summary covering applicants contacted, follow-up volume, applications moved to "Complete," escalation roadblocks, and operational trends
- Reduce the "Incomplete" application backlog and turnaround time
- Reduce administrative workload for full-time admissions advisors
- Maintain accurate documentation, tracking, and applicant communication
Requirements:
- Effective communication skills and ability to connect with people with a variety of lived experiences
- Effective written and oral communication skills related to customer service and relationship management
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize work
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Passion for working with teachers and commitment to Reach University's mission
- Higher education experience appreciated but not necessary
- Previous service as a teacher appreciated
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role with a high level of interaction is necessary
- Intermediate to advanced skill in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Google Suite of products
