Job Description
Advisor Solutions Architect at Gainwell harnessing technology to improve healthcare. Collaborating with data engineering team to build analytic data products and solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide thought leadership and technical direction to the data engineering team
- Understand and translate business requirements to data strategies
- Design, develop and enforce standards for data storage and processing
- Work closely with architects to align data engineering practices
- Develop, document and maintain an overall view of data platform architecture
- Provide training for data engineers and developers
- Maintain knowledge of emerging technologies
Requirements:
- 8+ years of overall experience in big data, database and enterprise data architecture
- Delivery and programming proficiency in Python, Java, and Scala
- 5+ years of experience architecting and maintaining enterprise data lake platforms
- 3+ years of experience implementing cloud-based systems (AWS and/or Databricks preferred)
- Strong SQL skills
- Broad knowledge of data technologies and disciplines
