Job Description

APAC Communications Lead building ElevenLabs’ reputation as an AI voice and media company. Running regional campaigns, shaping narratives, and managing journalist and executive communications across key markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and own the APAC communications strategy
  • Build ElevenLabs’ reputation as it expands across the region
  • Design and run creative, high-engagement campaigns across media, social, and events
  • Shape the regional narrative and turn global news into local stories
  • Create original local moments
  • Identify reputational risks early and mitigate them
  • Build relationships with journalists, influencers, customers, industry bodies, and event organisers
  • Support executives with media interviews and speaking opportunities
  • Partner with sales, marketing, policy, legal, and deployment teams
  • Collaborate with GMs and marketing leads spearheading global expansion
  • Define the operating model for communications in APAC
  • Manage agencies as required in specific markets

Requirements:

  • Experience managing communications across multiple markets in APAC
  • Strong relationships with journalists at top-tier publications
  • Demonstrable track record of pitching stories and handling difficult corporate issues
  • Firm grasp of the political, regulatory, economic, and cultural landscape in the region
  • Ability to create unusually creative communications campaigns using non-traditional tactics and channels
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment with nascent operating models
