Job Description
Application Support Analyst designing application systems for the Department of Veterans Affairs. Evaluating and modernizing the Veterans Benefits Management System while supporting federal contracting.
Responsibilities:
- Design application systems in support of the Department of Veterans Affairs.
- Evaluate and modernize the Veterans Benefits Management System.
- Develop skills in technology development, testing and network administration.
- Reuse and expand technologies to create a better, modernized platform for veterans.
- Be part of an on-call rotation, responding to calls on a 24/7 basis.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience with SQL and relational database systems/concepts
- 1+ years of experience with AWS/Linux/Oracle
- 1+ years of experience with data and process analysis
- Knowledge of software development
- Ability to grasp concepts and the flow of cross-platform data
- Ability to communicate application information and solutions to clients
- Ability to work efficiently in cross-team situations as well as independently
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
