Job Description
Area Service Engineer installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Beckman Coulter IVD diagnostic instruments. Providing technical customer support and preventive maintenance remotely across assigned Indian accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver customer support through technical service at Hyderabad, Telangana APT
- Install and maintain instruments
- Provide basic operation training during installation
- Ensure preventive maintenance planning and MOD are performed in a timely manner
- Seek timely support for difficult product issues to avoid unnecessary downtime
- Maintain recommended spare parts for the full product range
- Maintain excellent customer relationships with directly assigned accounts
- Adhere to field service policies, procedures, and standards
- Report to the State Service Manager – APT region
- Support clients across the state
Requirements:
- Must be an Engineering Graduate with B.E./B.Tech. Degree
- Minimum working experience of 5 to 8 years in the relevant field
- Exposure to customer services (Technical) in the IVD industry
- Advanced Technical Competency in one of the Product lines in IVD product
- Skills to consultatively help and support technical troubleshooting
- Ability to drive corrective and preventive actions to improve service delivery based on customer feedback
- Technical field services experience with IVD products (hardware & software) with advanced Technical Skills in one product line in IVD is a plus
- Experience generating Service Revenue is a plus
- Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software for Call Handling & Closure in System is a plus
