Job Description
Senior sales leader driving Confluent's go-to-market strategy and scaling a high-performing team in the APAC region. Responsible for revenue growth and unified customer experience across the ANZ market.
Responsibilities:
- Coach and develop a team of Regional Sales Directors and Account Executives based in Australia.
- Drive the full revenue number (consumption, new subscription, renewals, and professional services) to bring above market growth to the Confluent Business in APAC
- Take ownership cross-functionally with Solution Engineering, Customer Success, Marketing, and Services to deliver a unified customer experience and customer value. Be the face of the business in the ANZ market.
- Build and execute pipeline generation strategies for strategic accounts and new logo growth in the largest organisations in Australia.
- Strengthen executive level customer and partner relationships to drive adoption and expansion across the Confluent Data Streaming Platform.
- Advocate for the voice of the customer and field back into Confluent’s GTM and product strategy to deliver higher customer value.
Requirements:
- 5+ years as a second-line sales leader; 10+ years overall management experience.
- Proven success leading enterprise sellers in complex SaaS, IaaS, or PaaS environments (cloud, data, messaging, or open-source preferred).
- A track record of scaling organizations to exceed growth targets - with consistency and operational rigor.
- Deep executive relationships and credibility.
- Strong leadership presence - able to influence across functions and inspire teams through change and growth.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: resourceful, adaptable, and driven to win in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable leading at the C-suite level.
