Job Description
Vice President overseeing K-12 education and youth development collective action initiatives at America’s Promise Alliance. Leading member engagement, initiative design, and organizational collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee APA’s Aligning K12 Education and Youth Development issue area
- Lead all of APA’s collective action work
- Ensure 75+ member organizations maximize their Alliance experience
- Manage multiple active collective action initiatives simultaneously
- Build relationships with CEO and C-suite of member organizations
- Develop and execute a member retention and engagement strategy
Requirements:
- 15+ years of progressive senior leadership with demonstrated growth in scope and responsibility
- Deep K-12 expertise, including a strong, credible understanding of how school systems operate
- Nonprofit operating experience
- Operator and executor mindset
- Executive-level relationship builder
- Collective action instincts and the ability to design initiatives that move from idea to real impact
