Job Description

Area VP Sales overseeing an Enterprise Sales team in the cybersecurity industry. Focusing on growth and mentorship in a remote setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a high performing team through effective mentorship and guidance
  • Lead from the front and be supportive and visible in opportunities and projects
  • Focus on development through established sales methods (MEDDPICC, Force Management, Challenger etc)
  • Establish and run an efficient operating rhythm
  • Effectively lead a disciplined pipeline generation process
  • People focused and able to drive ownership
  • Collaborate with the wider ecosystem (Marketing, Channel, BDR, Product etc) to develop effective strategies for team success
  • Develop an annual sales plan in support of regional growth as well as planning and managing sales forecasts and communicating progress against targets regularly
  • Attract top talent and build the sales organisation to achieve growth goals
  • Be deeply involved in the region’s complex deals to help negotiate and close in a timely manner.
  • Be a thought leader in region and support public relations

Requirements:

  • Cybersecurity industry experience
  • Proven leadership experience in high performing sales teams
  • Understanding of the information security channel network of partners
  • Extensive knowledge of selling to Enterprise clients
  • Ability to travel (about 20-30%)
  • Startup organisation background.
