Job Description
Assistant Manager driving business development for a Weekday's client in market research and consulting. Focused on revenue growth and managing enterprise client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Driving revenue growth through acquisition and expansion of enterprise clients for insight-led and customized research solutions.
- Engaging mid-to-large enterprise clients, selling intangible value-based solutions, and managing end-to-end sales cycles with ownership and accountability.
Requirements:
- 4–5 years of experience in B2B solution selling, ideally within market research, consulting, analytics, or knowledge services.
- Own the complete sales lifecycle: prospecting → discovery → solution positioning → proposal development → negotiation → closure.
- Drive new business acquisition across assigned geographies and industry sectors.
- Build, manage, and maintain a healthy sales pipeline with predictable conversion rates.
- Engage CXOs and senior stakeholders to understand complex business challenges and position research-driven consulting solutions.
- Collaborate with delivery and research teams to co-create customized proposals aligned with client needs.
- Manage and grow existing accounts through repeat business, cross-selling, and upselling opportunities.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and pipeline visibility.
- Participate in sector-focused campaigns, industry events, and thought-leadership-driven selling initiatives.

- Working knowledge of CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot, Lusha, or similar tools.
- Comfortable developing presentations, solution decks, and handling commercial discussions.
- Prior exposure to clients in technology, manufacturing, BFSI, or professional services sectors is advantageous.
- Existing regional client relationships or strong professional networks will be an added benefit.
- Willingness to travel moderately within the assigned geography.
- Clear growth pathway toward Senior Manager roles based on performance and business expansion.
