Job Description
Associate Attorney representing California workers in workers’ compensation matters at Abramson Labor Group. Managing cases, depositions, client negotiations, and resolutions remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a docket of cases to resolution
- Prepare clients for depositions
- Attend depositions
- Invoice depositions
- Respond to client inquiries requiring attorney negotiations and move matters toward resolution
- Respond to incoming emails and phone calls
- Provide direction and guidance to non-attorneys as needed
- Bring positivity to the workplace and lead non-attorneys by example
- Participate in team events during work and after work hours
- Provide feedback to management to ensure ALG performs the best it can for clients
- Report directly to an assigned Senior Associate
- Work with paralegals and support staff
Requirements:
- Candidates MUST be California State Barred
- Candidates must reside in the state of California
- Candidates must be in good standing with the California State Bar
- Newly barred attorneys or attorneys who have taken the February 2026 Bar are encouraged to apply
- Comfortable with fast-paced work environments
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Doctors' deposition experience (preferred)
