Job Description
Lawyers evaluating AI-generated legal work for Mercor, which partners with AI labs to train frontier models. Reviewing legal reasoning, drafting, precedent application, and litigation scenarios.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate AI-generated legal memoranda, contracts, case analyses, and other legal artifacts for quality and accuracy
- Compare AI-generated responses head-to-head based on legal reasoning, precedent application, and drafting rigor
- Review legal scenarios involving litigation strategy, statutory interpretation, and client advisory decisions
- Provide expert feedback to help evaluate and improve cutting-edge AI systems
- Complete an initial task within the required timeline for qualification for hourly payment on the remainder of the project
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience as a Lawyer, Attorney, Counsel, General Counsel, Prosecutor, or closely related legal practice role
- Experience representing clients in criminal and/or civil proceedings, drafting legal documents, or advising on legal transactions
- Ability to commit 20+ hours per week
- Strong written English communication skills
- Must be located in the USA
- Must not be an H-1B or STEM OPT candidate
