Job Description
Associate Compensation Consultant analyzing salary markets and client data for compensation recommendations. Supporting reports, surveys, models, and compensation programs across industries.
Responsibilities:
- Research market data, salary data aggregators, and published surveys to aid in market pricing jobs and generate market composites and recommendations
- Analyze market composites from multiple pricing sources to inform client recommendations
- Analyze clients' financial and compensation data versus the market using Excel modeling skills
- Utilize and audit financial models and internal efficiency tools; recommend or make edits as needed
- Assist in creating client reports using PowerPoint and formatted Excel tables
- Assist the consulting team in creating comprehensive compensation programs across various industries
- Create visual comparisons of market compensation data and client compensation data for client meetings
- Plan, direct, and complete participation in annual compensation surveys
- Document processes, timing, responsible persons, project plans, data requests, and backend client support and analysis
- Generate meeting agendas and lead calls as directed
- Maintain complete and accurate information in the agency management system
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Business Administration or similar discipline with analytics, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Two (2) or more years of corporate work experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products with a strong emphasis in Excel
- Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
- Highly analytical, detail oriented, critical thinker who can tell a story using data
- Demonstrated experience meeting tight deadlines, prioritizing tasks, high level of accuracy, and working independently to achieve effective results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Able to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- Demonstrated customer service skills
