Job Description

Associate Director leading paid search strategy across Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, and Target retail media networks. Driving enterprise account growth for DEPT®, a global technology and marketing services company.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic paid search campaigns across retail media networks for an enterprise retail account
  • Lead and manage a team of paid search specialists, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development
  • Collaborate with analytics, creative, and account management teams on integrated media plans
  • Analyze campaign performance data and provide actionable optimization insights
  • Oversee day-to-day campaign execution, timely delivery, budgets, and quality standards
  • Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in paid search and retail media
  • Build and maintain client relationships as a trusted advisor
  • Develop and present performance reports and strategic recommendations
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in paid search advertising, with a focus on retail media networks
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in client facing roles
  • Proven track record of managing successful paid search campaigns for enterprise-level accounts
  • Deep understanding of retail media networks and platforms, such as Amazon Advertising, Walmart Connect, Best Buy Ads, Target Roundel etc.
  • Proficiency in paid search tools and technologies, including Google Ads, Bing Ads, and analytics platforms
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights
  • Experience leading and managing a team, with a focus on mentorship and professional development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams
  • Ability to foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic paid search plans that align with client objectives and drive business growth
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing market conditions and client needs
  • Candidates must be located in either the Central, Mountain or Pacific time zones
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; DEPT participates in E-Verify
