Job Description
Associate Principal Engineer specializing in Workday HCM integrations at Nagarro. Responsible for developing and supporting scalable integration solutions for enterprise applications.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, enhance, and support Workday HCM integrations across enterprise applications.
- Design, build, and maintain integrations using EIB, Core Connectors, Benefits Connectors, PECI, Workday Studio, and Document Transformation.
- Gather business requirements and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable Workday integration solutions.
- Configure and maintain Workday Business Processes to support evolving business needs.
- Develop and maintain Workday reports and BIRT reports to support business operations and reporting requirements.
- Configure and maintain Workday security roles, domains, and security profiles.
- Support Workday HCM modules, including Core HCM, Compensation, Payroll, Recruiting, ATS, Employee Management, and Learning Management.
- Manage content uploads such as onboarding documents, questionnaires, and other Workday configuration artifacts.
- Provide production support by troubleshooting integration and functional issues, performing root cause analysis, and implementing timely resolutions.
- Monitor and support Workday integrations to ensure reliability, performance, and data accuracy.
- Work closely with internal IT teams, business users, and third-party vendors to deliver enhancements and resolve issues.
- Manage incidents, service requests, and change requests through ITSM processes while meeting defined SLAs.
- Prepare technical documentation, integration specifications, knowledge articles, and operational runbooks.
- Stay current with Workday releases, new features, and best practices to continuously improve the Workday ecosystem
Requirements:
- Total Experience 10+ years in Strong experience in Workday HCM with strong expertise in Workday Integrations.
- Strong hands-on experience in developing, implementing, and supporting Workday integrations.
- Expertise in Workday integration technologies, including, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) – inbound, outbound, user template fill-in, and mass uploads, Core Connectors, Benefits Connectors, Payroll Effective Change Interface (PECI), Workday Studio, Document Transformation
- Experience in configuring and supporting Workday Business Processes.
- Strong functional understanding of Workday HCM modules, including: Core HCM, Compensation, Payroll, Recruiting, Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Employee Management, Learning Management System (LMS)
- Experience in developing Workday Reports and BIRT reports.
- Experience managing content uploads, including onboarding documents, questionnaires, and related content.
- Strong knowledge of Workday security configuration and security profiles.
- Experience providing production support for Workday functional and integration solutions.
- Good understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and ticket management.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, implementation partners, and internal IT teams.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Workday Certification is preferred.
- Willingness to work in US/UK overlapping hours (preferred shift: 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM IST).
