Job Description

Sales Representative for Audio/Visual technology, building relationships with AV Integrators in the South Central U.S. Leveraging sales experience and collaborating with teams to drive business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Leverage sales experience to strategically build relationships.
  • Proactively cold call AV Integrators to educate on Daktronics products.
  • Develop strategy to onboard target integrators.
  • Collaborate with AV Sales team to gather market intelligence and effective strategies.
  • Understand project and customer needs, organizing appropriate sales and support teams.
  • Develop and present dynamic presentations in various settings.
  • Plan, prioritize, and document sales activities.
  • Daily use of Salesforce to manage accounts, sales opportunities, leads, and all customer management functions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, marketing, technical area, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Effectively exercise discretion and independent judgement.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  • Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to meet all workplace safety requirements.
  • Prefer three-five (3-5) years of field sales experience including negotiating and purchase agreements.
  • Experience selling to or working in the Audio-Visual Industry is a plus.
  • Strong computer skills to include but not limited to Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Salesforce, and LinkedIn.
  • Previous experience using Salesforce is a plus.
