Job Description
Sales Representative leveraging sales experience to build relationships with AV Integrators for Daktronics indoor LED displays and managing customer engagements through strategic sales activities.
Responsibilities:
- Leverage sales experience to strategically build relationships
- Understand and successfully articulate the benefits of indoor LED displays as compared to other technologies
- Proactively cold call AV Integrators to educate on Daktronics products
- Develop strategy to on-board target integrators
- Collaborate with AV Sales team to gather market intelligence
- Understand project and customer needs, organize, and involve appropriate sales and support teams
- Develop and present dynamic presentations in various settings
- Develop weekly sales plan
- Utilize Salesforce to manage accounts, sales opportunities, and customer management functions
- Daily use of Salesforce to manage accounts, sales opportunities, leads, and all customer management functions
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, marketing, technical area, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Mechanical aptitude
- Effectively exercise discretion and independent judgement
- Must be able to travel by air and ground and comply with the Daktronics Driver Eligibility Policy
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
- Applicants must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to meet all workplace safety requirements
- Prefer 3-5 years of field sales experience including negotiating and purchase agreements
- Experience selling to or working in the Audio-Visual Industry is a plus
- Strong computer skills including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Salesforce, and LinkedIn
- Previous experience using Salesforce is a plus
