Job Description
Sales Representative for Daktronics AV Sales Team promoting indoor and outdoor LED display technology. Building relationships with AV Integrators and presenting Daktronics products.
Responsibilities:
- Leverage sales experience to strategically build relationships.
- Proactively cold call AV Integrators to educate on Daktronics products.
- Develop strategy to on-board target integrators.
- Collaborate with AV Sales team to gather market intelligence.
- Understand project and customer needs to organize appropriate sales and support teams.
- Develop and present dynamic presentations in various settings.
- Develop weekly sales plans to maintain customer relationships.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, marketing, technical area, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Effectively exercise discretion and independent judgement.
- The selected individual must be able to travel by air and ground and comply with the Daktronics Driver Eligibility Policy.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
- Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to meet all workplace safety requirements.
- Preferred 3-5 years of field sales experience including negotiating and purchase agreements.
- Experience selling to or working in the Audio-Visual Industry is a plus.
- Strong computer skills to include but not limited to Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Salesforce, and LinkedIn.
