Job Description
Audit Manager leading Healthcare engagements at AAFCPAs. Responsible for supervising teams and ensuring adherence to high audit standards in healthcare.
Responsibilities:
- Be a leader in the Healthcare team keeping up with changes in the industry and participating in conferences.
- Supervise engagement team and prepare end-of-engagement evaluations for staff
- Monitor and report regarding the productivity of staff, and adherence to work plan schedules on each assignment
- Keep lines of communication open with staff and clients
- Contribute to the firms thought leadership efforts in Healthcare
- Anticipate and address client concerns, and escalate problems as they arise
- Recognize and inform management of opportunities to increase level and types of services to clients and potential clients
- Prepare all necessary financial statement and related disclosures and significant deficiencies letters, with an eye on quality, thoroughness, and accuracy
- Lead the engagement team with an emphasis on collaboration, flexibility and valuing the differences in others
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- CPA preferred
- 5 - 7+ years of external auditing with healthcare experience within Public Accounting
