Job Description

As a Bank Operations Compensation Analyst at Addi, ensure compensation and settlement processes are accurate and timely. Collaborate in automating operations and certifying regulatory reports in a fintech environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure end-to-end daily compensation and settlement across networks (ACH, MasterCard, PSE, etc.)
  • Maintain accurate and timely reconciliations
  • Certify all regulatory reports with strong evidence, controls, and auditability
  • Own the daily compensation cycle with ACH (Integra), MasterCard/MCCA and other rails, meeting all windows and cut-offs with 0 team-attributable delays
  • Prepare, validate, and certify the accuracy and completeness of information periodically reported to the Superintendencia Financiera (SFC), achieving zero rejections for data quality in the first 6 months
  • Publish a dashboard within 60 days tracking timeliness, open breaks by network, aging, regulatory rejections, and SLA compliance
  • Design and deploy at least 2 high-impact automations for reconciliations or regulatory cut-offs using SQL/Python or low-code
  • Establish logs and evidence of who/when/what/why/supporting files for each compensation milestone and every regulatory submission, linked to tickets and artifacts

Requirements:

  • Proven expertise with core banking processes or operations
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in a bank operations or fintech operations role within the Colombian financial system
  • Deep familiarity with core banking operational flows, including ACH compensation/settlement (Integra), card network processes (MasterCard/VISA, MCCA), and multi-system banking reconciliation
  • Experience operating Bank products/features such as ACH transfers, PSE, and debit cards, preferably MasterCard
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement multi-system reconciliations with preventive/detective controls and a risk-focused approach
  • Close partnership with Treasury and Accounting teams for daily and month-end closes
  • Top-tier attention to detail and ability to break down complex operational problems into measurable components
  • Familiar with reporting standards to Colombian authorities (e.g., SFC) and related obligations (e.g., DIAN/GMF)
  • Evidence-driven certification approach and data quality discipline to meet the highest regulatory standards
  • Proficient in SQL for querying and data analysis; experience with BI tools (Databricks, Looker, PowerBI)
  • Desirable: Python or low-code tools for automating repetitive tasks and building scalable solutions
  • Ability to use data to find root causes and validate solutions, not just surface-level fixes
  • Proactively identifies inefficiencies and systematically designs streamlined, scalable, and automated solutions
  • Track record of successfully designing and implementing new operational processes from scratch, measurably improving efficiency or strengthening controls
  • Operates autonomously, communicates risks and decisions clearly, and delivers under tight operational cut-offs
  • Takes full responsibility for operational outcomes with a sense of urgency, even in ambiguous situations
  • Comfort in managing longer-term deliverables while handling unexpected near-term priorities
