Job Description
Bilingual Recruitment Consultant connecting top talent with roles in healthcare, insurance, and community impact. Engaging candidates, managing recruitment processes, and collaborating with business teams.
Responsibilities:
- Full cycle recruitment - from marketing the position and sourcing to offer acceptance, managing intake discussions, posting, screening, interviewing, and offer delivery, with a focus on delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
- Hiring Leader collaboration – we’re a true extension to business teams, we know the roles, the people and their processes, that’s how we excel in positioning roles to candidates and explaining what their everyday will be like at Medavie.
- Candidate management - reviewing resumes, conducting Bilingual pre-screens and interviews, coordinating next steps, and ensuring timely, transparent communication.
- On-System recruitment management - through our Applicant Tracking System (we use Workday) you’ll ensure accuracy, efficiency, and a seamless experience for candidates and hiring teams.
- Offer execution - you will work with Hiring Leaders to outline competitive offers for candidates and prepare all offer documentation, verbally delivering to candidates and conducting negotiations, guiding candidates and leaders through to acceptance and onboarding.
- Brand ambassador – you will continuously build talent pipelines, engage with passive candidates, and bring innovative marketing strategies to live to attract top talent and stay ahead of trends.
- HR partnership - you will partner with other HR COEs including, HR Business Partners, Learning and Development, Total Compensation, Benefits/Payroll and IT to advance recruitment initiatives, tools, and projects and ensure the candidate experience flows seamlessly.
- Unionized hiring (Quebec) – SME - act as the TA representative for QC unionized recruitment, ensuring full adherence to collective agreement requirements, guiding hiring leaders through obligations, and supporting the TA team in consistently applying these rules.
- Career Events & Talent Engagement - Actively represent Medavie at onsite and virtual career events across ATL - engaging talent, promoting career opportunities, strengthening our brand, and driving hiring outcomes.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience (in-house preferred), with a strong background in insurance operations, mid-level roles and unionized hiring.
- Fully bilingual (French/English): French proficiency is required to perform the duties of the role, which include daily collaboration with teams and partners in Québec who operate primarily in French.
- A consultative, partnership-driven approach—working as one team with candidates, hiring leaders, and internal partners to deliver seamless and aligned hiring outcomes.
- Experience partnering with schools, community organizations, and external networks to build diverse talent pipelines, including students, new graduates, and newcomer talent.
- Proven experience using the Workday Recruitment module to manage end-to-end hiring and onboarding processes, including all stages of the recruitment lifecycle and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- A self-starter mindset with the ability to lead projects independently in a virtual work environment.
- Ability to travel to onsite Career Fair locations within ATL where required.
