Job Description

Billing Analyst managing card, payments, and platform invoicing for Reap’s stablecoin-powered fintech platform. Reconciling transaction data, assuring revenue, and automating billing controls.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the end-to-end billing and invoicing cycle across Reap's card programs, payments, and platform fees
  • Translate contracts, pricing schedules, and rate cards into accurate billing
  • Apply interchange-related fees, FX and conversion fees, transaction fees, subscription and platform charges, minimums, tiered pricing, and bespoke partner terms
  • Reconcile billing against source transaction data across card and payment systems
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies systematically
  • Identify under-billing, missed fees, and revenue leakage; quantify findings, fix root causes, and strengthen controls
  • Manage accounts receivable and collections, monitor aging, follow up on overdue balances, and partner with account managers on escalations
  • Resolve client billing queries and disputes with clear, well-supported responses
  • Support IFRS-compliant revenue recognition and month-end close deliverables, including billing accruals, deferred revenue, and revenue schedules
  • Automate invoice generation, data extraction, and reconciliation using SQL and data tooling
  • Document SOPs and build scalable billing controls
  • Collaborate with Sales, Account Management, Product, and Engineering on launches, pricing changes, and contract amendments
  • Support external audits by preparing billing and revenue schedules, responding to queries, and maintaining audit-standard documentation

Requirements:

  • 2 to 6 years of experience in billing, revenue operations, accounts receivable, or revenue accounting
  • Exposure to fintech, payments, or financial services is a strong advantage
  • Meticulous attention to detail and comfort working with high-volume transaction data
  • Strong Excel skills and ability to work with large datasets
  • SQL proficiency or strong willingness to learn quickly
  • Working knowledge of revenue recognition concepts and how billing feeds the close
  • Clear, professional communication in written English
  • Process-minded and improvement-oriented
  • Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-moving environment with ambiguity and new challenges
  • Formal accounting training (CPA or equivalent, completed or in progress) is a plus but not required
  • Experience billing for card programs, payments, or usage-based/consumption pricing models is nice to have
  • Familiarity with data warehouses such as Snowflake and BI tools such as Metabase is nice to have
  • Experience with ERP systems such as Sage Intacct and billing/invoicing tooling is nice to have
  • Experience in multi-entity, multi-currency environments is nice to have
  • Interest in or exposure to stablecoins, crypto, or digital assets is nice to have
