Job Description

Biopharma Account Manager growing Thermo Fisher’s bioproduction portfolio across Denmark. Managing key accounts, developing sales opportunities, and supporting biopharmaceutical manufacturing customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and grow the Bioproduction market in Denmark
  • Sell the Bioproduction portfolio, including Gibco Cell Culture, Poros and Capture Select Purification, Applied Biosystems Pharma Analytics and Thermo Scientific Single Use Technology brands
  • Sell to technical, manufacturing and commercial customers using a distinct sales approach
  • Maintain and grow business within existing key accounts and seek new relationships
  • Lead key accounts and manage influencers in the territory and other global geographies
  • Collaborate with the Sales Manager to create and implement a Strategic Sales Plan
  • Prioritize and bring in appropriate resources to drive sales objectives
  • Pursue existing and new sales opportunities to meet or exceed targets
  • Collaborate with other teams to deliver proposal details to customers
  • Work with Field Applications to allocate support for key evaluations and regional projects
  • Provide accurate forecasts, lost-order reporting and competitive information

Requirements:

  • Life science degree or equivalent
  • Fluent in English
  • Established sales history with proven track record in Bioprocessing or a related field
  • Existing knowledge of upstream and downstream groups within key biopharmaceutical accounts in the Nordics would be desirable
  • Good basis to develop strong technical skills to discuss and support requirements in vaccine production, recombinant proteins and monoclonal antibodies within Process Development, Pilot Plants and Manufacturing Sciences
  • Able to build and maintain positive relationships with designated accounts
  • Must understand customers' manufacturing process to provide perspective on improvements
  • Strong analytical skills to analyze territory sales data and technical information
  • Ability to perform independently and as part of a team
  • Experience using a CRM system such as Salesforce.com
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout the assigned geography to meet customers
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization with collaborators who share joint responsibility for certain product groups
