Job Description

Key Account Manager driving strategic OEM growth for Novanta’s precision healthcare technologies. Building executive relationships, converting customer needs into opportunities, and influencing product strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive strategic account growth by expanding relationships within key OEM accounts, identifying whitespace opportunities, and developing account strategies
  • Uncover and convert new opportunities through consultative customer engagement
  • Translate workflow challenges, unmet needs, and voice-of-customer insights into qualified opportunities, project wins, and scalable production programs
  • Build trusted relationships with engineering, procurement, quality, commercial, and executive stakeholders
  • Connect customer needs to Novanta's product and technology roadmap
  • Partner with commercial, engineering, operations, product management, and program teams to deliver customer solutions and support profitable growth

Requirements:

  • Proven success growing complex OEM or B2B accounts through consultative selling, opportunity creation, account planning, and pipeline development
  • Ability to uncover customer challenges, identify growth opportunities, and translate technical, operational, and commercial needs into actionable business solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to build credibility and influence stakeholders across all organizational levels
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
  • Experience leveraging CRM tools, customer insights, and business data to drive decisions, forecast opportunities, and achieve results
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a desk
  • Ability to lift, carry, and transport demonstration equipment and related materials up to 25 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Manual dexterity for using a computer, including typing and operating a mouse
  • Stamina for frequent travel, including long flights and car rides
  • Expect to travel up to 50% of the time, including overnight stays
  • Ability to travel on short notice and adapt to changing schedules
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
