Job Description

Budget Analyst responsible for strategic leadership and financial management at Grupo Boticário. Collaborating with various teams to ensure effective decision-making and compliance as part of financial planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic and Budgetary Leadership: Responsible for full budget preparation and management (Opex/Capex), from studying assumptions and prioritizing based on risks and efficiencies to rigorous monitoring of adherence (Budgeted vs. Actual vs. Committed, Forecast, balance of investment orders, provisions/reversals, reclassifications), ensuring direct alignment between financial strategies and the business's challenges and objectives.
  • Financial Analysis and Decision-Making: Preparation of monthly executive, tactical and operational reports supported by analyses and structured action plans. Acts as a central point to provide crucial financial insights that drive strategic and well‑informed decisions.
  • Process Optimization and Efficiency: Lead multidisciplinary financial-efficiency squads, applying methodologies such as PDCA and Lean Six Sigma to optimize processes and deliver business value. Proactively identify improvement opportunities, implement innovative solutions and ensure visibility of results to management. Structure procedures, work instructions and training together with stakeholders.
  • Indicator and Performance Management: Define and manage key financial indicators (cost per m², consumption variances, etc.) through dynamic, structured dashboards. Continuously monitor the financial performance of the management area, identifying trends and opportunities for optimization.
  • Strategic Partnership and Development: Act as a business partner to the FP&A team in managing expenses for Grupo Boticário’s owned retail unit, providing strategic support and financial insights.
  • Financial Compliance Guardian: Responsible for ensuring financial compliance for senior management, guaranteeing adherence to internal and external policies and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Statistics or related fields.
  • Experience in financial planning and/or FP&A.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and communication to interact with the FP&A team and other teams across the company.
  • High sense of prioritization, organization and commitment to deadlines.
  • Strategic/holistic mindset, results-oriented, strong analytical skills, data-driven, methodical and detail-oriented.
  • We are looking for an analyst with autonomy to perform daily activities, conduct complex analyses and manage efficiency/continuous-improvement projects.
  • Knowledge of Google tools (Sheets, Slides, etc.), SAP and IBM TM1.
  • Intermediate knowledge of SQL and data-analysis tools (Looker Studio / Tableau). Experience with predictive analysis and statistical inference techniques.
  • Preferred: experience in Retail, Occupancy Costs, Python and AI tools focused on process automation.
