Job Description
Associate Business Analyst configuring Claritas Rx’s AI-driven specialty pharmacy data platform. Negotiating data specifications, mapping files, and leading QA across client implementations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead negotiations with specialty pharmacy and other data partners on inbound and outbound file specifications
- Review specifications for completeness, field-level accuracy, and alignment with the Ascend data model
- Negotiate field mappings, list-of-values, file formats, and delivery cadences
- Validate test files and maintain specification version and sign-off records
- Translate partner constraints into configuration, exception, or escalation decisions
- Own data mapping, platform configuration, business logic implementation, and front-end reporting setup
- Load data into the pipeline using configuration tooling
- Collaborate with Customer Engineering on standard onboarding and custom build handoffs
- Conduct internal QA before partner or client-facing testing; approve progression to UAT
- Track and resolve configuration defects during QA and UAT
- Perform quality control before go-live
- Maintain QA documentation, test frameworks, and checklists
- Route non-standard requests to Product or Customer Engineering with business and technical context
- Conduct change impact analysis
- Coordinate with Engagement Managers and Delivery Directors on specifications, blueprints, testing, and UAT scheduling
- Report blockers, capacity constraints, and escalations proactively
- Support UAT business validation for configuration-related questions
- Normalize schemas and maintain data dictionaries and file inventories
- Document requirements, procedures, issue resolution processes, and platform configurations
- Develop an operating playbook and internal training procedures
- Train other Business Analysts as the team scales
- Maintain standard UAT test script templates
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from a 4-year university
- Relevant experience in an operations role at a biopharmaceutical manufacturer, reimbursement call center, specialty pharmacy, or data management company
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other analytic tools, including data comparison, conditional formulas, data summary, and conversion
- Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Background and experience with the Business Analysis toolkit, including systems development lifecycles, problem solving, root cause analysis methods, and business process modeling
- Demonstrated ability to manage deliverables across multiple concurrent implementations or client programs
- Ability to lead data partner spec negotiations across multiple external partners simultaneously
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and execute multiple tasks simultaneously with rigorous attention to detail
- Knowledge of data management in specialty biotech and/or reimbursement call center or specialty pharmacy operations
- Familiarity with transactional, clinical, and behavioral healthcare data sources, including specialty pharmacy data file types
- Understanding of UAT facilitation, defect triage, QA gating, and go-live readiness
- Ability to exercise judgment in configuration decisions
