Job Description

Business Development Executive at TELUS Agriculture & Consumer Goods driving sales in the European market. Engaging with potential clients to build relationships and promote services.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales funnel by sourcing and qualifying customer opportunities
  • Work with Marketing and Sales to identify industry-specific lists of potential customers to pursue
  • Present, promote, and sell TELUS Consumer Goods services to prospective customers
  • Build relationships with potential customers and quickly establish trust and rapport
  • Report on relevant sales data including calls, emails, etc
  • Leverage tools like phone, email, virtual meetings, etc to connect with potential customers
  • Make use of LinkedIn Sales Navigator to build prospective leads lists
  • Meet KPIs for the Inside Sales role
  • Keep all customer and activity information live and up-to-date in Salesforce

Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English is essential, as well as another European language
  • Excellent at managing your own schedule and priorities
  • Excellent at asking questions and performing discovery to uncover a prospect's pain points, determine buying criteria, and timeline
  • Highly activity-oriented when it comes to number of communications sent (email, phone calls, etc)
  • Ability to generate interest from cold calling, emailing, etc in order to move to the next step in the sales process
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge of TELUS Consumers Goods software platforms and hone in on specific solutions to solve specific customer needs
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Able to work independently while being a team player
  • Proficiency with CRM software and virtual meeting tools
