Job Description

Business Development Manager responsible for driving growth and maintaining client relationships for Solenis. Focused on heavy industry sectors including Mining and Chemical Processing in Southeast Asia.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in target markets across Southeast Asia.
  • Drive business growth in both new and existing accounts through effective senior-level selling.
  • Lead, prepare, and deliver professional proposals and presentations in collaboration with the local sales team, with the objective of securing new business and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers at customer sites.
  • Provide professional on-site support, including water analysis and testing, as required.
  • Collaborate closely with commercial, technical, and support teams to meet customer deliverables and exceed expectations.
  • Maintain a strong focus on safety, ensuring full compliance with the highest workplace safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 15 years’ experience in HPI, CPI, or a related industry; water treatment experience is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated capability in business development, consultative selling, and closing complex opportunities.
  • Strong understanding of industrial processes and water treatment.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional regional languages are an advantage.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in a technical, scientific, or industry-related discipline.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
