Job Description

Business Operations Manager optimizing urgent care and employer services operations for Mercy Health in Ohio. Driving performance improvement, financial results, and patient experience across multiple locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Support operational excellence across Urgent Care and Employer Services as a strategic partner to operational leadership
  • Conduct operational site visits, assessments, and audits across urgent care and employer services locations
  • Monitor and report on staffing, financial, patient flow, and service delivery performance metrics
  • Analyze KPIs to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities
  • Partner with site leaders to implement best practices, standardized workflows, and operational improvements
  • Consult with site leadership on performance, financial management, and patient experience
  • Review profit and loss statements and support action plans to improve performance
  • Provide coaching, training, and operational guidance to clinic managers and staff
  • Support new site openings and facility enhancements, including operational planning and readiness
  • Ensure implementation of system initiatives, programs, policies, and technology updates
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, clinic teams, and employer clients

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field (required)
  • 3 years of experience in healthcare operations, business operations, or multi-site support (required)
  • Experience in urgent care, medical office operations, or occupational health services (preferred)
  • Training in operational analytics tools, reporting systems, or healthcare performance improvement methodologies (preferred)
  • Ability to conduct operational site visits, assessments, and audits across urgent care and employer services locations
  • Knowledge of staffing, financial, patient flow, and service delivery performance metrics
  • Ability to analyze key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Ability to review profit and loss statements
