Job Description
Delivery Manager onboarding BESS, wind, and solar assets onto KrakenFlex, Kraken’s energy SaaS platform. Coordinating customer, electrical engineering, product, and commissioning delivery across Germany.
Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end onboarding and delivery of Generation Flex assets, including BESS, wind, and solar assets
- Manage assets from initial discovery and technical analysis through site design, installation, configuration, commissioning, testing, and handover into live service
- Build understanding of the Generation Flex product and KrakenFlex SaaS platform
- Connect physical site and electrical/control systems with the KrakenFlex software architecture
- Work with Product and Software Engineering to understand capabilities, configuration requirements, and technical constraints
- Translate customer, electrical engineering, and SaaS/product requirements across teams
- Understand end-to-end data and control paths through meters, PPCs, gateways, communications infrastructure, and KrakenFlex
- Ensure customer use cases are reflected in telemetry, controls, configuration, integrations, and product modules
- Explain physical and software integration approaches to customers
- Identify product gaps, constraints, dependencies, and recurring onboarding challenges
- Serve as primary customer delivery contact during site onboarding
- Coordinate technical information with Electrical Engineering and Customer Success Engineering
- Review customer technical documentation, including SLDs, network diagrams, asset specifications, PPC/controller documentation, Modbus maps, IP information, functional design specifications, metering, telemetry, hardware, and connectivity requirements
- Coordinate Kraken integration documentation and gateway delivery and installation
- Manage readiness for gateway connectivity, operational acceptance testing, and Kraken market/service testing
- Manage delivery risks, communicate mitigation plans, surface blockers, and maintain site status visibility
- Continuously improve the Generation Flex onboarding process with Engineering, Product, and Operations teams
Requirements:
- Strong technical background and confidence working with electrical, control systems, and networking
- Practical understanding of industrial networking and communications, including IP addressing, LANs, routers, switches, VPNs, and site connectivity
- Electrical engineering knowledge covering metering, breakers, transformers, generators, inverters, batteries, and asset control systems
- Experience delivering technical projects involving integration, commissioning, or onboarding of physical assets
- Excellent communication skills for explaining complex technical problems, impacts, owners, and next actions
- Experience coordinating multiple teams and dependencies across customers, engineering, hardware, installation partners, and third parties
- Highly organised approach, strong attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple sites simultaneously
- Ability to proactively identify risks, remove blockers, and maintain delivery momentum
- Customer-centric and collaborative approach
- Interest in understanding SaaS products end-to-end
- Professional fluency in German and English
- APIs, data flows, system integrations, or cloud software architecture beneficial
- Experience in flexible generation, battery storage, renewable energy, demand response, or distributed energy resources beneficial
- Working understanding of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus or OPC UA helpful
- Experience commissioning or integrating generators, BESS, solar, EV infrastructure, or other industrial energy assets beneficial
- Experience with grid-connected assets, control systems, or energy market services beneficial
- Experience with SaaS implementation, technical product onboarding, or systems integration beneficial
- Familiarity with commissioning processes, including cold commissioning, energisation, and hot commissioning beneficial
- Experience with industrial gateways, edge devices, or IoT connectivity beneficial
