Job Description

Business Operations Analyst II delivering Tableau and Power BI insights for Labcorp’s healthcare laboratory services. Automating data pipelines, reporting, and AI-enabled operational decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports
  • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, performance drivers, and operational improvement opportunities
  • Translate business questions into analytical approaches supporting decision-making
  • Validate data accuracy and consistency across reporting platforms
  • Lead the strategic advancement of AI and Copilot in the Division
  • Streamline and automate recurring data processes
  • Build and optimize data pipelines using Alteryx, Tableau Prep, SQL, Excel, and other data integration tools
  • Ensure data integrity through quality checks, documentation, and governance practices
  • Maintain data dictionaries, definitions, and reporting standards
  • Deliver recurring and ad hoc performance reports
  • Communicate insights to technical and nontechnical audiences
  • Support KPI creation, tracking, and refinement
  • Provide analytical support for business cases, forecasting models, and process improvement initiatives
  • Partner with operational leaders and stakeholders to design analytics solutions
  • Act as a subject matter resource on Tableau and reporting best practices
  • Provide stakeholder training or documentation on dashboards, data definitions, and insights

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Preferred: 3+ years of experience in business analysis, operations analytics, or a related role
  • Proficiency in Tableau and Power BI, including dashboard development and visualization best practices
  • Experience with Alteryx, Tableau Prep, Power BI, Salesforce, SQL, advanced Excel, Power Query, Python, or similar tools
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to simplify complex data into clear, actionable insights
  • Strong attention to accuracy, detail, and data quality
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Aptitude to rapidly learn relevant tools such as Alteryx and SQL Server
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships
