Job Description
Business Process Consultant guiding customers through ServiceNow finance, procurement, and legal workflow implementations. Defining processes, requirements, user stories, testing, and customer-facing deliverables.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a functional and process expert on ServiceNow Expert Services customer implementation and delivery teams
- Consult with customers to transition business requirements into configuration requirements for ServiceNow Finance & Supply Chain and Legal Contract Operations solutions
- Act as process expert for Finance, Source-to-Pay, Legal Operations, and/or Contracting departments
- Define, re-engineer, improve, and perform gap analysis on current- and future-state processes during customer workshops
- Lead customers in using standard ServiceNow capabilities and best practices focused on configuration rather than customization
- Lead customer design workshops focused on ServiceNow Platform and Solution functionality
- Support key customer process owners and SMEs in gathering business requirements
- Guide customers in completing business requirement workbooks and other required documentation
- Draft persona-based and functionality-focused user stories, acceptance criteria, testing strategies, and knowledge-transfer materials
- Own the user-story workflow lifecycle from draft to completion
- Advocate for customer needs throughout engagements
- Support internal unit testing with Technical Resources
- Drive customer unit and user-acceptance testing requirements
- Lead engagement project teams focused on successful customer outcomes
- Prepare customer-facing process deliverables
- Manage multiple complex projects and initiatives
- Promote continuous improvement in delivery and engagement materials
- Support sales activities when required
- Train and mentor ServiceNow delivery team and partner ecosystem members upon request
Requirements:
- At least 8+ years of consulting experience for complex, global organizations in Finance, Supply Chain, Source-to-Pay, Legal and/or Contracting operations/technology departments
- Demonstrated ability to influence and consult in Finance, Supply Chain, Source-to-Pay, Legal and/or Contracting organizations
- Proven experience defining and deploying future-state processes and identifying people, process and technology solutions
- Strong understanding of systems and tools such as SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba, Coupa, Ivalua, and Oracle Procurement Cloud
- Experience with ServiceNow Finance & Supply Chain Solutions preferred
- Current ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification required
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification required
- ServiceNow Supplier Lifecycle Operations, Sourcing & Procurement Operations, Accounts Payable Operations, and/or Legal Service Delivery accreditations preferred
- Solid experience converting business requirements to configuration requirements by authoring user stories supporting Agile Development
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
- Proficiency in Visio, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience providing Knowledge-Centered Service / Support using technologies
- Experience analyzing and recommending Finance, Supply Chain, Source-to-Pay, Legal, and/or Contracting strategies
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer-centric attitude
- Ability to deal with cultural diversity
- Proven team player and team builder
