Job Description
Business Solutions Developer II at Centene transforming health solutions through technological tools and programs. Collaborating across teams to design and implement efficient business solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Plans, conceptualizes, configures, and builds solutions that solve common challenges within the business by using technological tools or programs
- Conducts research and requirement gathering to determine customer needs and drive strategy and oversee the development process
- Collaborates with multiple teams and specialists
- Takes an active role in design, development, testing, troubleshooting and maintenance
- Writes code for software programs and applications using inheritance and virtualization following best programming practices
- Performs complex research and analysis to find best solutions to stakeholder requests or problems using best method or tools to develop solutions
- Conducts meetings to gather requirements and updates on ongoing projects
- Maintains communication with stakeholders during solution development
- Collaborates with peers on development and solution strategy to identify the most efficient and effective product solutions
- Performs regular code reviews and requests
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in the field or in a related area
- Completion of a technical training program (e.g., LaunchCode, FDM, etc.) may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree
- Healthcare experience a plus
- Applies basic understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Solid SQL skills and Web/Windows frameworks development experience
- Experience with SQL, SSIS or SSRS
