Job Description

Manager for Energy, Utilities, and Infrastructure projects leading strategic and operational challenges in global teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the transformation of clients' operations by framing challenges and working with project leadership and teams to resolve them;
  • Lead consulting, engineering and transformation projects or problem-resolution initiatives, supporting multidisciplinary teams on challenging assignments;
  • Travel and work on-site with clients when required to gather data and support the coordination of activities;
  • Collaborate with other parts of the organization and multidisciplinary teams to solve problems across various sectors;
  • Guide teams in developing analyses, solutions, and effective deliverables;
  • Conduct interviews and participate in hiring for project teams;
  • Review, validate, direct, and ensure the quality of team deliverables;
  • Understand strategic and business contexts, aiming to expand engagement and opportunities with clients;
  • Engage with project stakeholders on technical, business, and management perspectives, among others;
  • Collaborate in an innovative environment with global teams to co-develop value strategies for clients.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Industrial/Production, or Electrical).
  • MBA preferred and PMP or CCP certification desirable.
  • Sector experience: Proven experience in capital-intensive (CapEx) projects within Oil & Gas, Water & Sanitation, Energy, or Infrastructure sectors.
  • Claims & Disputes expertise: Strong knowledge of claims management, engineering expert assessments, and delay analysis.
  • Project management (lifecycle): Hands-on experience with engineering project maturity methodologies, management of EPC/EPCM contracts, and Lean approaches for project planning and controls.
  • Business development: Consultative commercial profile, active network of contacts, and ability to identify clients' pain points.
  • Stakeholder management: Ability to negotiate with C-level executives, utility companies, regulatory agencies (e.g., ONS, ANA, ANP), and government entities.
  • Innovation & digital: Familiarity with management tools (BIM, SAP, Primavera) and trends such as Energy Transition and ESG.
  • Leadership profile: Inspiring leader with resilience to operate in critical projects and a hands-on mindset.
  • Advanced English written and spoken.
  • Advanced Spanish written and spoken is a plus.
