Job Description
Central Administrative Specialist ensuring accuracy of resident financial statements and overseeing collections. Managing resident communications across multiple residential communities.
Responsibilities:
- Resident Financial Management
- Oversee account statements and collections across properties
- Investigate charge discrepancies with Property Managers
- Prepare demand letters, notices, and Final Account Statements (FAS)
- Coordinate evictions and follow-ups with attorneys or third parties
- Support debt recovery and collaborate with agencies/vendors like Jetty
- Resident Communication & Support:
- Address escalated financial inquiries with clarity and empathy
- Issue notices and communications with on-site teams
- Monitor rental insurance compliance and follow-up
- Collect forwarding addresses at move-outs
- Maintain documentation for payment promises
- Accounts Receivable & Payable:
- Process payments, reconcile transactions
- Record charges, fees, and adjustments
- Manage security deposits: collection, refunds, reporting
- Oversee Jetty processes, reports, and verifications
- Apply and monitor applicable risk fees
- Operational Oversight:
- Audit lease agreements for consistency
- Configure recurring charges, billables, fee structures
- Support month-end closing and checklists
- Maintain documentation for internal controls and improvements
Requirements:
- English Advanced
- 3–5 years residential property management experience focused on accounting or resident relations
- Knowledge of property management software (preferably OneSite/RealPage)
- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable/receivable and contract compliance
