Job Description

Bilingual Intake Specialist at RKL assisting immigrants with detailed intake and screening processes. Offering compassionate support for families navigating the immigration journey.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quality, detailed immigration screenings to help identify viable cases
  • Build rapport with compassion, active listening, and cultural humility
  • Screen accurately for information on family and humanitarian immigration options
  • Collect consultation fees and maintain organized consultation scheduling and documentation
  • Log intakes for legal assessment, track outcomes, and follow viable vs. non-viable procedures
  • Support reception to obtain new leads and help route client calls

Requirements:

  • Fully bilingual in Spanish and English (speaking, reading, writing, listening)
  • Strong ability to build trust through a warm, compassionate, people-centered approach
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, accuracy, and task tracking
  • Ability to work independently, manage time well, and stay focused in a remote environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Windows computer required (not Mac)
  • Prior immigration intake experience strongly preferred over legal assistance or case management
  • Naturally calm, patient, and emotionally grounded during difficult conversations
  • Highly proactive and internally motivated
  • Knowledgeable with CRM and software such as Monday.com, Lawmatics, Microsoft, or similar
