Job Description
Client Services Specialist providing 2nd line support for customer issues in the financial services sector. Advising on workarounds and ensuring timely information flows while interacting with clients.
Responsibilities:
- 2nd line support investigation, reproduction, and resolution of customer issues
- Advising on workarounds and identifying issues for bug fixing by the development team.
- Supporting and monitoring feeds and processes for hosted and installed clients.
- Interacting with clients and colleagues to ensure accurate and timely information flows.
- Investigating and documenting existing procedures and making recommendations for improvements
- Providing 1st line support when necessary, which includes responding to telephone and online support queries.
- Volunteer On-call support for which additional payment is provided for weekends and evenings. (After 1 year in role)
- Work an overnight shift to cover North America business hours.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in related discipline or equivalent experience
- Experience in database management using MS SQL
- Client Facing experience
- Excellent problem solving capabilities
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Direct experience of EDM
- Knowledge of web services and additional database software
