Job Description
Clinical Consultant in Abbott's Heart Failure division leading education and clinical support initiatives. Training customers on products and improving clinical outcomes across assigned territories.
Responsibilities:
- Key point of contact for clinical issues for assigned territory customers
- Training and educating customers on Abbott products
- Heartline and Travel Call responsibility
- Attending implants to provide clinical support
- Strategic planning and execution to improve clinical outcomes
- Effective management of territory clinical and process related issues
- Effective communication and collaboration with teams
- Awareness of and adherence to Advamed guidelines
- Active continuing education on clinical issues impacting MCS
- Evaluate clinical and educational needs of customers
- Design, develop, and implement quality educational programs
- Track industry trends to alert marketing to new product direction
- Support sales team in promoting Abbott's product to prospective clients
Requirements:
- Undergraduate Degree in Nursing or some other medical discipline
- 3-5 years heart failure experience or equivalent preferred
- Background in Nursing, Circulatory Support or Cardiology
