Job Description

Commission & Payroll Reconciliation Specialist at San Blas Securities processing payroll and reconciling financial records. Role has growth potential into Executive or “C” Level position.

Responsibilities:

  • Review accounting records and banking documentation
  • Identify and investigate discrepancies
  • Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy
  • Process payrolls, including regular, special, and supplemental payrolls
  • Review and maintain payroll tax reports
  • Reconcile advisor charges
  • Implement and monitor compliance with federal and state laws
  • Maintain payroll and deduction information

Requirements:

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field
  • Financial Services Industry Experience is helpful
  • Proficiency in Excel and Office Programs
  • Ability to quickly learn firms system (Maestro, by Artisan Software)
  • Good "bed side manner" with advisors, vendor and brokers
  • Accounting experience
