Job Description
SAP HCM Consultant focused on UK and Irish Payroll, delivering expert support and managing client relationships in a virtual European team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert support for SAP HCM UK and Ireland Payroll, resolving tickets and ensuring smooth payroll operations
- Manage day-to-day support across SAP HCM modules including Payroll, PA, OM, TM.
- Investigate and resolve incidents and service requests within SLA timelines
- Deliver clear documentation, root-cause analysis and practical solutions
- Support minor enhancements and change requests with precision
- Monitor system performance and escalate complex issues when needed
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure seamless AMS delivery
- Ensure compliance with legal and internal standards in all support activities
- Share knowledge and mentor junior consultants to strengthen team capability
- Contribute to service improvement initiatives and incident reviews
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP HCM UK and Ireland Payroll, including configuration, testing and support
- Strong understanding of operational payroll and HR processes, including UK and Ireland payroll legislation
- Proven experience in client support environments, managing high ticket volumes and meeting SLA targets
- Ability to work independently, guide others and improve service delivery processes
- Experience managing client relationships and communicating effectively with stakeholders
- Confidence in identifying issues, proposing solutions and escalating appropriately
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams, partners and vendors
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Commercial awareness and commitment to delivering within client expectations
- Experience with SuccessFactors is a plus, but not essential
