Job Description

Community Content & Growth Specialist building Think Academy’s organic presence across Reddit, Quora, and online communities. Creating helpful content, managing its subreddit, and identifying growth opportunities for its K–12 education services.

Responsibilities:

  • Research relevant conversations, questions, and user needs on Reddit and Quora
  • Write high-quality posts, comments, and answers that provide real value to users
  • Manage Think Academy’s subreddit, including content planning, posting, engagement, and moderation
  • Build relationships and maintain a credible presence in relevant communities
  • Track content performance and proactively identify new growth opportunities
  • Identify and evaluate emerging online communities relevant to Think Academy’s target audiences, analyze each community’s culture, user behavior, content norms, and participation guidelines, and develop tailored engagement strategies

Requirements:

  • At least one year of hands-on experience managing Reddit and Quora accounts or communities
  • Excellent English writing, editing, and research skills
  • Strong ability to analyze user intent and audience needs
  • Familiarity with Reddit culture, subreddit rules, moderation, and engagement best practices
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
  • Strong ownership of projects and results
  • Preferred: Experience managing or growing a branded subreddit
  • Preferred: Familiarity with K–12 education or parent-focused content
  • Preferred: Experience with community analytics, organic growth, or SEO
