Job Description
Manager, Construction leading retail development projects for VF Corporation. Overseeing design, execution, and stakeholder management across multiple brands and initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end planning and execution of simultaneous retail design and construction projects
- Develop and manage project tools (e.g., schedules, budgets, timelines, resource forecasts) to track progress, deliverables, and workload
- Partner cross-functionally and manage internal/external stakeholders (vendors, contractors, architects, brand teams) to deliver projects on time, on budget, and within scope
- Drive cost efficiencies through value engineering, competitive bidding, and continuous improvement of processes and operational tools
- Drive design development for longer-lead projects such as flagship locations
- Lead high-level internal and external communications throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years managing multiple, concurrent retail or commercial construction projects
- Proven ability to manage budgets, control costs, and make independent decisions
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite of Programs, Smartsheet, Adobe Suite of Programs, CPM toolkits such as Procore, Bluebeam, Multivista
- Experience with architectural and construction drawings, materials, and processes
