Job Description

Consultant supporting healthcare impact strategy focusing on child and family wellbeing at Sellers Dorsey. Engaging in client projects, management support, and internal initiatives in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the growth and impact of Sellers Dorsey’s Child and Family Well-Being (CFW) work and contribute to firm wide strategic priorities by providing strong client servicing and project management support across a diverse portfolio
  • Work with multiple Project Directors to support client and firm initiatives, including project planning, coordination, deliverable tracking, and day to day execution—often across several projects at once
  • Develop foundational knowledge of Medicaid, including federal and state requirements, focusing on programs serving children, families, and child welfare–involved populations
  • Build trusted relationships with internal teams and subject matter experts, supporting client interactions with professionalism, responsiveness, and a service-oriented mindset
  • Independently complete routine project tasks, contribute to client reports and communications, and proactively identify risks, issues, opportunities, and process improvements
  • Play an important role in strengthening internal operational effectiveness, supporting project administration, documentation, workflow development, and information gathering to improve efficiency and consistency across projects

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Child Welfare, Health and Human Services, Operations, Business, Project Management, Public Policy, Public Health, Juvenile Justice, and/or Social Work
  • 3-5 years related experience in Child welfare
  • Medicaid knowledge and expertise preferred
  • Strong Project Management skills
  • Strong experience with SharePoint, Smartsheet or comparable tools
  • Ability to successfully work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with an array of colleagues and clients
  • Time-management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong communication skills including writing/editing and public speaking are preferred.
