Job Description

Consultant supporting portfolio planning and process improvement in a large client-facing energy sector engagement. Engaging across teams to align strategic objectives and deliver actionable plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Support portfolio planning, gap analysis, and execution tracking across multiple initiatives
  • Assist with process design, operating model development, and governance improvements
  • Align priorities, timelines, and dependencies across teams
  • Develop and refine planning artifacts, dashboards, and reporting structures
  • Assist in developing Power BI dashboards and data models for leadership visibility
  • Prepare executive-ready presentations, status updates, and summary materials
  • Coordinate across client and consulting teams to track deliverables and reporting cadences
  • Support leadership with analysis, insights, and recommendations

Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen or hold Green Card Status.
  • Experience with portfolio planning, program support, or process improvement
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Proficiency with reporting and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
  • Ability to influence across teams without direct authority
  • Additional qualifications a plus: Utility, energy, or infrastructure sector experience
  • Familiarity with enterprise project management, financial, or capital planning platforms
  • Capital project or construction delivery lifecycle knowledge
  • Prior consulting firm experience
